Even though Georgia Bandits 9U collected three hits to PawSox Elite 9U’s zero, they still fell 8-5 on Sunday at Peachtree City Athletic Complex. Hudson R, Masyn M, and Brayden B each collected one hit for Georgia Bandits 9U.

Georgia Bandits 9U opened the scoring in the first after Ricky S grounded out, scoring one run.

PawSox Elite 9U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring seven runs on zero hits to take the lead, 7-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a fielder’s choice by Drew D that drove in two.

PawSox Elite 9U added one run in the second. Zaire’ F walked, making the score 8-1.

Ricky began the game for Georgia Bandits 9U. The hurler allowed zero hits and six runs (three earned) over two-thirds of an inning, striking out one and walking three. Zaire’ started the game for PawSox Elite 9U. The starter surrendered one hit and one run over one inning, striking out one and walking one.

Ricky and Leighton M were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Georgia Bandits 9U. Leighton stole two bases.

Drew provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led PawSox Elite 9U with two runs batted in.  TJ S paced PawSox Elite 9U with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game. Emerson G stole two bases. PawSox Elite 9U stole six bases in the game. PawSox Elite 9U turned one double play in the game.
